AffirmedYou LLC’s Mental Fitness in the Workplace program is vital for enhancing the safety, productivity, and well-being of all employees.
By integrating mental fitness practices into daily routines, this program ensures that individuals across various job roles are mentally prepared to tackle their responsibilities effectively.
A core component of this program is the Inner Journey: Mental Clarity app, which helps employees engage in mental priming exercises that reduce stress, sharpen focus, and boost overall cognitive function.
Through structured mental readiness routines, employees are better equipped to manage the demands of their roles, minimizing the likelihood of errors and enhancing performance.
The program is facilitated by a certified Neuroscience Coach, who provides personnel with valuable coaching, guidance, and support as they develop their resilience, adaptability, and mental performance. The organization also has the option for selected personnel to undergo neuroscience coaching certification with AffirmedYou, to lead the implementation of the program with its teams.
Daily mental fitness routines foster personal accountability and collective discipline within teams, ensuring that employees remain mentally resilient and capable of maintaining high standards of work. This holistic approach to mental health in the workplace improves both individual performance and organizational efficiency, making it critical in environments where sustained mental engagement is essential.
Program Overview:
App Installation: All company-provided devices are equipped with the Inner Journey: Mental Clarity app (IJ) for daily mental priming exercises. Employees are encouraged to explore the app’s additional features to support extended mental wellness. For personal devices, employees can choose between Neuro Journey: Mental Fitness (NJ), Inner Journey: Mental Clarity App (IJ), and Parenity: Parent Wellness (P), all provided by the company.
Mental Priming and Operating Requirements:
All employees are encouraged and incentivized to engage in a two-minute mental priming sequence via the IJ or NJ app before starting their workday and again after lunch to ensure continued mental readiness throughout the day.
Employees involved in critical tasks must complete a Mental Prep routine via the IJ or NJ app before engaging in any high-stakes activities. At a minimum, a breathing exercise should be performed before beginning the task.
Employees working on long-duration projects are incentivized and encouraged to set a 90-minute timer via the app to remind themselves to take short mental breaks and perform a quick mental priming exercise or breathing technique to stay mentally engaged and reduce fatigue.
Daily Morning Mental Fitness Routine:
Employees are incentivized and encouraged to practice the IJ daily morning mental fitness routine upon waking or upon arrival at the workplace. They will be trained to self-regulate their adherence to this routine, promoting accountability and group discipline. This helps maintain a high level of mental clarity and resilience throughout the workday.
