Henry of VA by way of Queens, NY says: “Keep Cool and don’t worry because there’s always another plane.”
Who is Henry? Henry who isn’t retired volunteers some of his time helping everyday passengers at the Dulles International Airport. A traveler himself he’s keen on airport lounges and gates which makes his assistance to passengers all the more valuable. I had the opportunity to talk with Henry today and for that I am very grateful. As I approached his stand I noticed his circular glasses, inviting demeanor, and warm smile. Whether Henry could help me or not, I was already grateful for his demeanor and professionalism (some might say this is a rare occurrence). Henry kindly gave me all the pointers I needed and I was on my way. But Henry didn’t just point to loungers and gates, we engaged in a dialogue all while helping others as they approached his desk. He connected human to human in a discussion of where we were from and where we were going touching on family and personal causes. So, I share what Henry shared with me and others: “Keep cool and don’t worry because there’s always another plane.” Advice we all could use.
